Julie had a love affair with fashion for as long as she can remember, but working in the industry began over 17 years ago when Julie founded Styletto, a personal fashion and advisory firm based in Ottawa. Julie worked with a wide range of private and corporate clients to help them build fashionable wardrobes that suited their lifestyles.
Following a move to Toronto, Julie also became involved in the planning and organizing of numerous fundraising and charity events on a non profit basis (many fashion related). Julie presently sits on the Scrubs committee with Sickkids Foundation helping to raise millions of dollars for Sickkids Hospital.
For the past three years, Julie’s focus has being working with young designers from Canada and Australia. She has helped facilitate brand development, organizing pop ups, trunk shows, liaising with local fashion media influencers, working with retailers, styling for look books/lifestyle shoots and Toronto Fashion Week through her company JLMP.
It is dressing real people that excites Julie. She wants every individual and employee to love what they are doing while feeling the best they can be.
No matter what body shape a person has, Julie encourages her clients to feel strong, powerful and proud.
